The Ridgefield Rotary Club, International District 7980,  was chartered by Rotary International in 1941, and has of been serving the community continuously since that date.  “Service Above Self,” the motto of Rotary International, is also the motto of the Ridgefield Rotary Club.

Our Club is known as an engaging and fun group of business, professional and community leaders who give their talent, time, and money to doing good work for community and international social causes.  The Ridgefield Rotary Club supports many local projects including the Ridgefield Rotary Little League Team, and contributes through its local foundation to worthwhile causes. The Club has contributed over $10,000 a year to local causes, and provides yearly scholarships to Ridgefield High School Students. Rotarians are mentors at Ridgefield High School; grill chefs at Ridgefield Library Book Sales, raise money for Rotary International’s Cause to End Polio Now, help raise money for Ridgefield’s 911 Memorial, and raised money and built the playground at the Ridgefield Rec Center for children with all abilities called “Rotary Park,” and more.
