Rotary Sponsored Concert to Benefit School in Ghana – June 22 – 4:00 pm – Ridgefield Playhouse

Ridgefield Rotary club, supported by a Rotary District matching grant, is proud to present a fund raising concert to help build sustainable bathrooms for the Kobina Ansa elementary school in Ghana. Rotary’s first project, over 100 years ago, was to build a bathroom in Chicago. Today it is unthinkable to have a school without a bathroom, and Ridgefield Rotary is delighted to support this project to provide basic sanitation at this school.

Why this school, you may ask?  There is a Ridgefield connection – The Enchanted Garden Studio in Ridgefield, which has provided so many services for Ridgefield youth, has a family connection. Isaac has ben interviewed about the project and you can read all about it in the Ridgefield Press.
