Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide, who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

There are approximately 1.2 million Rotarians, members of more than 30,000 Rotary clubs in over 166 countries.

The Ridgefield Rotary Club was chartered by Rotary International in 1941, and has been serving the community continuously since that date. The Club currently has about 42 members. “Service Above Self”, the motto of Rotary International, is also the guideline of the Ridgefield Rotary Club.
